If the mythical BK were ever to hit - which is nigh impossible as you have correctly pointed out - a global deflationary depression would consume everything in it's way. it makes no sense however to worry about that, since the stock market is nothing but a constant buying opportunity destined to grow to the skies sooner rather than later. after all a bunch of WS analysts is saying so, and they must be right, right? conservative estimates look for Dow 400,000 by 2045, a man of learning recently pointed out that an average p/e of 100 would be the correct value for stocks and the Dow should therefore be at 36,000 by tomorrow the latest. so don't worry, be happy and BUY. oh yes, and short gold of course. hb
