Ken, Several of us remember when you did not like ALSCs prospects.
Glad you finally found reasons for ALSC to appreciate!-)
I heard on Digital Jam tonight that European PC sales are up 22% due
upgrades before Y2K hits older equipment. I think Tom W. pointed this
out several weeks/months ago.
Can we get some earnings from operations this qtr, please? We get a
nice multiple(25 or more) on such earnings! A dollar would be nice!
Then I can get my Viper!

UTEK Semiconductor EGM approves merger with UMC

TAIPEI (AFX-ASIA0 - UTEK Semiconductor Corp said its shareholders approved
a proposed merger with United Microelectronics Corp at the company's
extraordinary general meeting this morning.
The EGM also approved a 1.00 twd stock dividend for 1998, a company
official said.
At 11:25 am, UTEK was down 0.40 at 33.60 twd and UMC flat at 62.50.
