At this time, I would just like to make a comment about candlesticks, which I picked up from Steve Nisons' first book. While the OEX and SOX appear to have put in an "evening star" pattern, IMO, he would not classify those indexes as having done so. The reason being, for Nison to classify such a reversal pattern, it would need to occur in an uptrend! IMO, this is where people make mistakes with candles. They just look for the candle patterns, but do not recognize the significance of where and when those candle patterns appear in the trend<b/>.
