I agree with you. The "in your face" rapid speed of news delivery makes all news seem like it's happening directly to us personally. To me it's an irritant (ex: JFK jr crash) but to some lunatics it's fuel for their "ideas". It seems like the unfortunate results of day-trading played a big part in this incident and I hope that the topic does receive intelligent media coverage. Too many common unexperienced folk out there are playing this game and giving up their careers to turn a quick buck. This has a negative impact on the stock market and can put personal lives in ruin. The media should downplay the glamorization of day trading.

My sympathies, to all the families affected by this tragedy.
