Hi Sonny,

I saw the news about Atlanta too. That is very sad! I just wish they would quit showing us all the gore over breakfast though. With these 24 hour news channels now, once there is a tragedy we hear about it everywhere for days on end. I know it's hard not to look at the train wreck but not over and over again.

I hope the feds are just doing some research on the breakup of MSFT and don't actually go through with it. I think it will only harm everyone else to have to deal with many mini-microsofts. Then of course they will buy each other out in a decade or so, like we are seeing with the baby bells.

I hope your weather is going to improve for the weekend like ours is. We are not on water rations yet and they did report we listened yesterday and power usage was down 20%. Were not stupid down here, Omaha had 13K people without power Wednesday into Thursday. If we loose power we will be going to a hotel or back to Colorado. <gg>

About that inflation. I sure hope we don't see it for a while. From what I read and hear it's very hard for companies to raise prices because of the competition, so I really don't see where the inflation is going to come from. I can see why labor is more expensive, that infamous law of supply and demand.

Here's another article for you. Dinnggg Round 2, AOL -vs- MSFT. <ggg>

AOL puts Apple on its buddy list

usatoday.com

INTC doing pretty well, came within pennies of a new high. Maybe we'll get lucky and we'll close at a new high.

You have a great afternoon!!

Take Care

Ann

Good Afternoon Sonny,

Sad article about the Atlanta tragedy. So many innocent people were victimized. hey i can appreciate the guy's pain and frustration but what sense does it make to go on a shooting spree??

Sonny, I give up now trying to make any logic of what is going on in the stock market. Nobody really cares anyway and who are we but just one little voice in a sea of indifference?

Yes the weather is indeed hot and my next door neighbor wants to fill up her swimming pool tomorrow because her spoiled kids are complaining. we are supposed to get some relief in the heat next week but I do hope to get some rain. Are you stocking up on spring water??

Have a great weekend and stay cool

Frank
