maybe you should be watching Ampex(axc). While very early, I think they are the leader in this space today.

first of all it is Tivo not vivo (vivo was streaming media software microsoft purchase) second i do think both TIVO and replay are going to change TV however i think both products will be eventually folded into Web TV or Advanced set top boxes i e become commodity like every other piece of electronics. three i don't think email is a killer app for interactive TV - matter of fact i am not sold on interactive TV at all. no one has shown me a compelling app for it. i DO think interactive TV will consist of Video on Demand and Multiple camera views in Sports and maybe home shopping (or gambling). Any other form of interactivity will be the domain of computers and the internet
