Thanks for your insights on Meehan's comments this morning. What you say certainly puts his comments into perspective.

Frankly, to me it would me nice to get a major decline behind us (after Brinker issues a sell signal, of course) and get back into the market during "the mother of all gifthorse buy opportunities" as spotted by Brinker. Then maybe we can gradually move up again during the following nine years and Brinker can feel free to spend more time on the sport he seems to enjoy most - golf - without feeling responsible for his flock of followers.

As investor sentiment says, about 1 in 4 are bears so finding some is never really a problem. Finding one that has been that wrong for that long who will get on TV and subject themselves to scrutiny is probably pretty hard. I did see Gail Dudak on recently but she has still had about 50% in the market so I don't really count her as bad as those shorting the market...
