Mo, of interest to you possibly: Help Wanted Ads at 2 Year Low:

(how does one juxtapose a "tight labor market" relative to low unemployment, yet the help wanted indexing continuing a downward trend?)

New York (AP) - The volume of help-wanted advertising in major U.S.
newspapers fell in June to the lowest level in two years, the
Conference Board reported Thursday. The private business research
group said its monthly help-wanted advertising index dropped to 84 in
June from 89 in May. It was also 89 in June 1998. The last time it
was lower was in May 1997 when the advertising index reached 82. The
index is used as a private gauge of changes in local, regional and
national job supply. "Labor demand dipped this summer," said Kenneth
Goldstein, the Conference Board's economist. But Goldstein said it is
unlikely the labor market will weaken in the second half of the year,
adding "this pause could prove to be temporary." See
