<<ALERT for subscribers! August Preliminary*** Calendar updated now >>> Day turned about what I expected. Sold off the few morning holdings. Funny I never expected to still be holding STMP and CUST, but might just sell even those positions near the close. Keeping my AMZN and CMTN puts which i mentioned this morning. LRCX and MMPT still leading the most ups. Didn't add or subtract anything except a small position in GMST which might turn out to be a hold, I'm not up much as entered rather late. I spend the time better with the scans and got the preliminary calendar out. Remember to 'refresh' or close your browser to get the revised August calendar. THE PRELIMINARY CALENDAR FOR AUGUST 1999 *****The dates are pretty much correct but since we are a month in advance there will be other times to confirm. First Call HAS NOT given me these dates, I got them from other sources and about 20% I confirmed. I will longer put the "C" for confirmed. That is misleading it only means that First Call Radar had that date, or some secretary might have though it so as we subscribe to First Call we depend on their accuracy. If there is a company you particularly like, you can try to call Investor Relations even today. Next week we will begin confirming dates, more charts, fundamentals etc. first week #1 then #1 and so forth. For you it would be best to study the companies.. Look them over, you might want to build a database and start charting. This weekend, in lieu of a newsletter we will be annotating the preliminary stocks with footnotes and relevant data. Of course the main emphasis will be on the stocks reporting from the 2nd to the 6th) This will not be as excellent as our final product (pop up charts, updates) but by end of August we should have everything in place. As usual every Wednesday night of each week (4, 11, 18 and the 25)the the upcoming week will be more fully updated , including possibly more detailed charts especially as some of the plays are closer to triggering buy signals. This has worked well in July.. better than just one week at a time as stocks like NVLS, RFMD, SNDK, CMTN, DOX,CVS,NTK,ENTU,CHRX, VNWK BOBJ etc. and some others provided trading opportunities on one or more occasions prior to their reports.
