What a way to close the week.
LRCX is up more than 7 with heavy volume. I did some rough calculation
to see what earning potential of LRCX for this fiscal year.
Based on yesterday comments from Bagley, LAM is did 210 million
in revenue number and 28 cents EPS for last Q. With current operational leverage, LAM generates about 10 cents (this could improve) for every incremental 10 million in the revenue number. The guidance for next Q was 240 million and EPS of roughly 50 cents per share. If LAM adds 20 million to revenue number quarter to quarter for this fiscal year ( which would be low estimate for the second half of the year), EPS for this coming quarters will be 70, 90, 1.10 cents for Q2, and Q3, and Q4 respectively. This adds to be about $3.2 EPS for this fiscal year. Given PE of roughly 25, we should be trading around
$80 per share early next year. You see, today is huge rally still have
much much more room to go. As I have said before, I am smelling a
split some time early next year. I am happy to say good time for
LAM is finally here.
