LG, I agree with your post completely, this guy was a lunatic before he started day trading! He had a little bit longer fuse than most ( 5 years ), unfortunate that he chose the trading houses to let it out, but it could have been a playground full of children. A tragedy for sure, but no reason to shut this thread down.

To close the thread down would be like mourning forever over someone you didn't even know. I hope He will reconsider.

He also was 'daytrading' in internet stocks by putting in buy orders, watching the stocks fall, then not coming to the office for days. He would let 'daytrading' positions sit unattended.
