Notice To all. . . There is a rumor going around the net that Mark O. Barton, yesterday's crazed shooter. . is a member of SI. . . .

And like with many rumors. . . some have jumped to ridiculous conclusions about "who" it is/was. And I am sure they are incorrect, as the rumor is unsubstantiated.

Please do not speculate or be a part of such speculation. . . it is simply too difficult to determine from this end. . .and it can only lead to terrible misunderstandings. That is all I will say about it.
