I believe it was a HTP or a TMK release within the last 2-3 days that reported the distance to be about 700 feet (horizontal). One should also note that they have set casing to ~17,100 feet as opposed to ~17,600 feet in the blowout well. This suggests, to me anyway, that the top of pay is about 500 feet higher in the new well. This is "very" significant.
