Ike, I occasionally drop in a 7/11, but I've never, ever been to the Amzn site to get the touch, feel and the experience that William, Mark and TomD have enjoyed there.<g>
Re Bids. I have a substantial amount of Ebid @ a cost of .45c a share.
It hit 8 and is now back to 5. Who cares?? Easy come easy go.

aka bid.com has now come down 75 % from its peak...i think in canada its peak was 32 bucks and now its under 8 dollars...this stock was all the rage north of the 49th parallelogram..

Thats what happened to onsale. Now trading at 16, 52-wk high 108!!!
