Re: "Sharptooth bites AMD in the A$$ !"

Sharptooth is eating Intel's lunch right now in the notebook market. This is one of the few brights spots in AMD's ASP picture.

The situation is only going to get worse for Intel when Sharptooth is on .18u.

Paul - RE: "The jacked-up Kmart 63 is a complete failure.

Sharptooth bites AMD in the A$$ !"

Like Kevin said, don't forget the notebook market. AMD will have their own version of Geyserville (sp?) in the .18 mobile K6-III according to some presentation they made a few weeks ago.

I am finally going to admit it - As of now in the PC market, The desktop K6-III has been a complete failure. Makes you wonder if it was even worth it for AMD to redesign the K6-2 for the cache and modify its process for the K6-III for the .25 process.
