Michelle,
I would gladly pay more in taxes if I could be assured that some real progress will be made on the schools in the area for example, and I mean a complete overhaul, new buildings etc. I view this as an investment, same with a lot of other tax increases, I am willing to pay.

How much do you THINK you are paying in taxes (percentage)? Btw, the largest tax increase in history was implemented under Clinton...... but, you probably know that already?

the rulemakers can always insert loopholes to avoid tax increases. Hillary moved up her $ 250,000 bonus from Rose law firm up one month to escape the 1983 tax hike. the politicians use their tax-free foundations, trusts, or corporations to shield themselves from tax increases. the people that get hurt are those make a lot of money but not quite enough to afford these... $ 50,000 to $ 150,000
