re:"BPUR a buying opportunity" Hard to say. Did the lower offering price mean reduce the operating capital raised by 30%-40%? Biopure will have regulatory, manufacturing and marketing hurdles to face. And the path to the blood-substitute market is littered with the burned out hulks of failures. Biopure looks like it might really make it - but, it does have hurdles and investors familiar with this industry are probably pretty wary (must be if the offering price was 12 and the prospectus estimated 15.5-17.5).
