I believe you mean "rare" ads, as in "infrequent"..."rarefied" means "ethereal" or "exalted"...or perhaps that is what you did mean...

I don't like ads anymore than anyone else. I think another reason is the integration with Go2Net since there's a lot of referrals on each screen to Go2Net features. I counted 8 small ads or links to sponsors on my first entry to the beta version.
