RE: Oil Companies and Global Warming.

The industry appears to be divided, E. The Petroleum Institute is among the big funders of Frederick Seitz and his anti-global warming petition. But Shell, Sunoco, BP/Amoco, Enron and a bunch of other energy companies are all on the Board of a powerhouse pro-global-warming (can one use such an expression?) outfit, The Pew Center on Global Climate Change. Go figure.

I thought your post was interesting- much more interesting than the post it was directed to. I think we've had several people stop by and tell us its all made up. Yada Yada. You have to hope they are right considering we are really doing F&*K all about it. But I don't suppose they are.
