Geez... I go away for one morning and you're all talking gold here? And Y2K? Y2K is not an issue...never will be. All of a sudden we have a survivalist mentality? Gold is a waste...it's been dead for years. So maybe it's good that ALTERN8 (or whatever) sold. The final weak hands are getting shaken out. That and the mounting short pressures should be good for the bull traders when all these worries are over and YHOO gets going again. The bond market is doing the same thing it did to everyone last month with rumors and fears and put buyers, etc...remember when Ron Insana turned the tables by revealing the BS last month? Wall Street has always climbed a wall of worry (just like last month) and the Fed tightened...and Wall St. rallied...and no one, least of all, the bond ghouls, expected it.

- my friend bought a Gateway PC - & guess what - he got a year free to Gateway's ISP - now you have Mindspring or one of them??? - syaing they're going to spend millions over the next year to become #2 - if there was ever a race to the bottom - it's the isp racket
