Rambi, I'll be glad to tell you what I was thinking and feeling. The incident on DAR with regard to neocon forced him to leave. I enjoy his presence, thoughtful posts and articulate viewpoints. I was glad he showed up here in a more appropriate setting to discuss politics or whatever else. He has been here what? Two weeks? and of all the people who discuss politics here Joan decided to subtly remind him of that ugly incident. I had to wonder why? Didn't you? My assumptions lead me to the belief that she actually disagree's with a lot of what he say's and instead of voicing them, simply wants them silenced. I believe that is wrong. Ignoring the issue, would have probably resulted in Neocon deciding to suppress his viewpoints, because he is an amicable guy, as he showed by voluntarily leaving DAR. Penni, we have discussed everything under the sun on SI for the better part of 3 years. You know me to be a reasonable person with regard to these type of issues. I do not believe my senses are wrong on this, and I also believe if you were not such a wonderful peacemaker you would agree too. And so now I have expressed my thoughts and feelings on the issue. Michael
