PC, since we know who MB and BF are, and are aware of the fact that they have significantly successful long term track records in the market, perhaps you'd like to share with the thread who you are and what your long term market track record is.

pc, that ego approach seems to fit the bulls. "new era." etc...

the economic reality is that it is beyond stupid to buy the s&p yielding 3% and growing at less than 10% when you can get high grade bonds for over 7%. stoopit.

"tough love" for the bulls is coming. i think you will find out that mike isn't invested in the market PRECISELY b/c he knows manias aren't rational. that isn't ego.

mike's put system takes into account the longer term potential for the market to be irrational. ego? hardly. a well thought out system based on the reality of the markets - sane or insane, yes.

but, then... i'm just a young cynical guy... ;-)

Paper Chase, We don't need no stinkin' books as long as we have you mouthing off at absolute tops to take the market down deep and dirty. <g>

I've been living, very well, thank you, off my investing skills for more than 20 years now. You must be very young, but you will learn what happens when stocks are finally valued as shares of businesses again. Hopefully, you will have enough money in solid savings or investments to survive the lesson. Seriously.

Good Luck,

MB

Well I see you have had three responds to you post. Let add one more little bitty bit of advice. If you don't like MB or the style of his
investing then why not just ignore him or find another thread. If that don't work then screw you and the one eyed mule you rode up on (g)
