RE: benchmark highs

I am just learning to read MACD charts and bullish/bearish divergences.

It seems that on the weekly chart of the SPX we have a clear case of a bearish divergence. The tick before this one was a tiny uptick above the middle at a higher price and this week's tick is surely a downtick. Can someone please look at the weekly MACD on the SPX and comment if you also see a clear bearish divergence?

If so maybe we have already seen our all time high for the bull market. To have the price run back up to 1420 now seems unlikely in the near term (i.e. before the end of the summer) Obviously it must be harder to call the market top than to look at a small bump on a chart so I would like to hear what anyone else thinks of such an event.

I am just learning and would appreciate any insight on this.

Regards
