Before I go, there was some concern on RB abut PAX tv coming out with an auction - it is junk TV auction and I am not alone in this categorizing of this PAX tv junk - anyway what I posted over at RB: By: invisible1 Reply To: 16112 by JScott Friday, 30 Jul 1999 at 5:07 PM EDT Post # of 16158 Jon and everyone else, if you want to see where the money is at Auctions - go to Butterfield & Butterfield in San Francisco; at PAX type family oriented auctions - you are looking at junk like ebay, garage sale deals; quality and real deals are found outside (Butterfield, Christies etc) and well separated from the 'mass' auction sites. I have yet to see a fabrege at any ebay or other 'family auction'; however when I go to San Francisco to Butterfield - I am sure to find the fabrege with ivory white swan on a pool of lapis lazuli for around 2 grand. Family going to drop that amount of money for an egg? I don't think so. You want quality - you have to go to the market that can produce it - and that is usually the artsy, eccentric, gay, eclectic, wealthy and educated persons. Just go to HGTV right now and see how many of the shows are produced and directed by gay and lesbian men and women. Get ready, GAAY is going to be the power and this management has the vision, money and backing to get things rolling. If you don't have the confidence in GAAY by now, you won't, so you had better get out and put your money elsewhere. PAX is not GAAY and it is not an equal comparison. Worry for not. This is just my opinion and I am full of my opinion, but I am also well aware of the lifestyles of the country in which I reside. Jacalyn M. Deaner EDIT here is what PAX tv is and JB Broadcasting association, like I said, if you are not convinced this company is good by now, get out and look for stock elsewhere where you will be more comfortable, no one is here to convince you to believe in your decisions. People just do DD and are kind enough to post, which sometimes takes alot of guts, both pro and con; however, I focus on GAAY and not on all the BS around GAAY. It is good to compare, but find an adequate comparison is all that is requested. PAX is not adequate, therefore null and void. :-) By: wolfie24 Reply To: 16129 by ROB-ART Friday, 30 Jul 1999 at 5:17 PM EDT Post # of 16159 PAX is not a major network it is a family oriented extreme right broadcast company. GAAY could nor would ever want to be on that network. The confusion lay in that JB Broadcasting carries PAX TV on one of their stations. PAX is not competition for GAAY in the auction market. IMHO
