<You Can Lead A Horse To Water But> Funny point, John,in that horses espically in the wild, will have a better chance in general in finding water than humans (when our water system is disrupted), and will have a better chance to not die of thirst!

Ron's absurd advice for humans to go to lakes or watering holes to find water is more appropriate for horses, as unlike humans, they/many of them can do that more easily, and can perhaps camp out near them!

So maybe the High Priest of Anti-preparedness's advice is better geared for horses, asses and cows than humans, and I should have given him his due, whattya think?

<load up truck with jugs. go fill them>John, are you finding these as hilarious as I am? Even after my list of logic-points, this absurd advice continues! Your point about iced-over lakes did not penatrate either! This is so funny, reading all his anti-preparation schemes, to avoid rational preparation-

why would anyone take the risk of the points I mentioned in my post #7427, as well as other risk factors I did not mention, instead of simply filling up a number of proper barrels at home in December?

As far as his advice about using bleach to put in water, I think I may have seen a warning label on Chlorox bottles or literature to not mix with water to drink. Do you recall that? Maybe I will contact them to ask them.

In any case, why not use a good filtration system?

The High Priest of Anti-preparation, of course, would NEVER recommend THAT! That would be proper, logical preparaton!
