Streaming Video Film Library

The established industry of providing stock film footage for film & video producers, directors and editors is a well-established vertical market. As there production professionals require scenes and images of a more generic nature, stock footage provides a more cost effective means than filming new material.

The existing means of providing this service requires the customer to review text descriptions of the film libraries content. If a possible match is found, the customer orders the material. The film library then packages & ships the material, satisfaction guaranteed. If the material does not match their needs, there is no cost to the customer. However, the cost to the film library is incurred. This methodology is wasteful to the time and resources of both the customer as well as the film library.

Media Concepts possesses an extensive film library which represents a valuable resource for this industry. Golden Section Inc. has technology to digitize this film library and distribute it in a much more efficient manner.

The process includes an interactive internet preview system, which will enable film professionals to preview the film on line. The professional will be able to review the material and be assured the selection actually matches their needs before ordering. Once the material is found, the customer merely selects the footage, enters ordering, shipping and credit information and awaits the shipment. The footage will then be shipped without risk to the film library and at a greatly reduced cost.

This plan will revolutionize the way this vertical market is serviced. Profitability and customer satisfaction will both improve.
