I've never been a short-term trader of SUNW.
I've been buying the stock over the past 10 or
eleven years and have been quite happy with the
return. Hell the last few years I've been
making more off SUNW stock than I make doing the
9-5 job.

It's fun to watch people try to predict where
the price will be next week: $55<-->$75? Too many
variables and unknowns for me to even think about
guessing. One thing I do know is that I don't
plan to make any changes in my ownership of this
company. I think Sun is just now beginning to be
recognized as a world leader in ''internet
technology''. We're just seeing the tip of the
iceberg for new business for Sun. I was reading
Internet World (July 15th, pg 39) at lunch today
and came across a table that lists the number of
Internet servers per 1000 citizens broken down
by country for 1998 and what is expected in 2005.
The growth is huge running 2-8 fold for every
country listed. For example:

USA 94 -> 232
Canada 50 -> 144
UK 29 -> 116
Germany 20 -> 74
Hong Kong 18 -> 61
Japan 15 -> 50
Italy 9 -> 46

The article does not say want kind of internet
server will be sold. But what is interesting to
note is the magnitude of the growth. Even if Sun
never takes another dollar of sales away from any
competitor they are still going to see a lot of
growth in their revenue because of all the new
hardware that is going to have to be bought over
the next five years. There is a fundamental
paradigm shift in the way people do business on
this planet. I'm happy to say Sun's in the middle
of it and will continue to be in the middle of
it five years from now.

SUNW at $75 next week - that's anyones guess. SUNW
at $300 five years from now - you can bet on it.
