someone else on the tread said it was only a rumor re Barron's
It looks more like the traders drove out more weak holders and got the price down further. Perhaps they(the shorts) started this rumor and are trying to drive the price to $80's imo

their was a bid for 750,000 shares at 95 from 3:45 till 4:00. Hope this buyer reappears on Monday.

It wasn't one buyer, that was the total bid on the NYSE. Between all the exchanges at times there was nearly 1,000,000 shares bid at 95. WOW!

I did find it more than a little disturbing that even with that many buyers at 95 people were still willing to sell. You'd think that would have inspired a little confidence in the buyers. It sure did for me-- I bought at 95 1/16.

BTW: By the end of the day the sellers had worn the bid down to 500,000 shares.
