A cubic foot of water about 62.5 pounds. theleeco.com So, 300 pound block of ice would be then be about 4.8 cubic feet or about 1.69 feet on a side. Not as big a block as one first thinks.

Good Afternoon Ann, Hi and how are you and the family?? My wife soon will be a grandmother and I can look forward to playing with toys and acting like a kid again and always blame it on the baby. We just got some relief here in Philadelphia from the hot broiling weather but we are in serious need of much rain. We are suffering from the worse drought since the great Depression. I don't know if I should have said Great Depression since the market is doing poorly now but I feel that after the summer or when investors see that enough is enough already they will buy up stocks and not sell off in the afternoons. Went to see the movie, "Runaway Bride" Yesterday with Richard Gere and Julie Roberts. It was very good. Take care and stay cool Warm regards Frank
