Hello My friend! Welcome to the AOL message board. I see you have chosen wisely to enter SI as a member. You will not regret it. This forum is full of knowledgeable investors. In regards to AOL's future; I have what I consider a short term bottom located at $95ish. The stock has been there twice in the last couple of weeks and it seems to be a very firm bottom. It is at the 200 EMA. The closing price today at 4 pm was $95 1/8 but the final price in after hours is $97 1/8. We have several factors at work here today in not only this stock but most every sector leader and most definitely the tech and Internet sectors. #1) The normal summer sell off is in full bloom right now. It will end in several weeks but many stocks have already reached their lower support levels and will trend sideways until then. People with cash should be taking advantage of this situation. #2) Each Friday that rolls about you can bet just after 12 pm est the traders begin removing their cash from the markets as they fear holding a stock over the weekend. If you get pre-open quotes then watch AOL monday from 9 am until the open. You will not be able to buy any at $97 1/8 at market open. Re: The next ride up an AOL will be fun. You had better believe it sir, most analysts have a $200 + year end target for this stock so jump in when you feel comfortable and have some fun with this one. I'm glad you're here Vendit
