<I just do not understand why a broker would advertise selling 50K to 150 K shares > I have been watching the Thomson site with interest. There ofter are many buy or sell message indications. One stock I own and follow is CHRZ. Today there were 11 sell mesages of 100,000 shares or more. CHRZ traded 110,500 shares today. My guess is that the sell messages are reruns of the ads to find a buyer. But since the sell messages are not a firm offer it cannot be accepted. Thus, there is ample room for abuse.
