I would concur that the market is going to get gradually less receptive to companies that just keep burning cash as they grow. Then after a shakeout, the profitable companies will have a more lasting growth phase.

Precisely! And, when the internuts can no longer replenish their leaking enterprises, many will become easy takeover targets for real corporations and the others will go belly up. There will be many unhappy campers holding worthless stock. Children? Can you say....Bre-X? ....... Oh, that's very nice. Now, once again....Bre-X.
