Well, the August edition of the EETimes stock pickem contest is history; and I didn't win this time, boo hoo :-( I think the winner milked WDC just about perfectly. But I did manage fourth place! That's not to terribly bad, eh? :-) I guess after winning July it's only fair to let somebody else win one.

Second and third place won a $25 gift certificate from FatBrain.com. I guess I should have been buying FATB stock instead of dreaming about winning $25 worth of books. Today's +60% could have bought a lot of nerd books!

P.S. The CD changer is pretty cool, now I only have to figure out how to use it! (and learn to be as effective with real money as I was with the fantasy dollars)
