Bill,I'm sorry for late reply. I work Fri and Sat...I bought USPIX based on my own analysis. Basically a bet that the markets will be lower by year end. So far, so good...USPIX also gives me the luxury of time, if I'm wrong short-term....scotty

Bill I feel the eeeriness of the similitude between now and 98 is by coincidence, but there is no law existent that says the market can not tank in the same roughly similar time frame in two consecutive years--so I,myself, do not take the view,so to speak, lightening can't strike twice in the place(and as we all know,it can strike twice in the same place,in fact,it can strike in any one place any number of times,or none at all).
So I want it said my being 95% cash has nothing to do with the "eeriness of this year matching last year" but with what my personal perception of what I perceive the charts are indicating now---all I am trying to say is that because it is eerily like last year is not grounds for taking the contrarian view, that therefore I don't believe it will this year.
I study charts, without consciousness of the calender--for this week regards the NASD,can it be basically concurred if it can't hold above 2540
this week, roughly 2370 is the next critical line? Max90
