I am short on time, so I must limit this post.

Today was the end of the month, so institutions long AOL would love to have a higher price on the books for month end performance. So a bullshit trade is posted way after the market quiets down to give a month end higher valuation.

Also, AOL does not go up 2 pts after the close on no volume on a Friday without concrete news.

Go to run.

Good luck on Monday

DB

OT OT Tape Painting, Tapeworms, Videotape, and AOL

>>Also explain what painting the tape is and how and why it is done and by who it is done.<<

Tape Painting: I prefer a satin finish on any tape that I personally paint. I've painted Scotch, duct, cassette, and 8 track tape (to name a few) and have found Rustoleum with a coat of clear lacquer to offer the optimum protection for the summer meltdown in the market. Word to the wise: avoid that handy bitch Martha Stewart's Internet Indigo color - it clashes with Faber's eyes!

Tapeworm news: Linda Tripp was indicted today. This could possibly be one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

Videotape: My 17 year old daughter went to a midnight showing of "Blair Witch Project" last night and was scared out of her impressionable teenage mind! She slept with her door open and the upstairs light on. She thought it was "real"; I had read about the clever production and decided to go see it earlier tonight and can report back to the thread that it is indeed kind of creepy and a great diversion on a hot summer bad market Friday night. The www.blairwitch.com website is a taste of things to come in the cross-promotional advertising tie-in web-enabled future that will wash over the easily amused masses in the next few years. This movie is almost as scary as Bob Pisani. Bond traders will love it.

AOL: I have no current position; my previous ill-timed massive taxable capitulation has been documented on sassy servers everywhere from Tulsa to Tunisia. I hope AOL rises from this base but until I see some direction I will not personally commit any speculatory funds to the AOL cause. This sucker could go to 150 as easily as 75; I don't want to be on the wrong side of the swing either way. I may miss a buck or two but will sleep better knowing that Bill and Al and the other Al and Alice and Bob and Carol and Ted and David are on guard and will protect the average investor from market mayhem and manipulation.

Yours in the deep in the money witch grass,

C Nelson Reilly
