Borb,

I have to humbly disgree. Japan's recovery plan currently depends on other economies being willing to buy their exports while doing very little to spur domestic consumption.

The key question is how does the Japanese leadership deal with their massive private and public debt, while at the same time prompting their pensioners to unlease some of that 12 trillion dollars in savings they have pigeon holed away in postal savings deposits??

Monetization and forced devaluation of the yen seems to be the only way and I can't see how the Nikkei can really recover until they endure that monetary "hit".

Regards,

Ron
