Ron,
The sale of Optimag will increase eps by $.06 per qtr as well as increasing cash flow in the qtr when the sale actually occurs.I think that the profits from minority interest refer to a firearms subsidiary. The GE joint venture(Qualcore) is in the initial stages of gearing-up and I suspect that its contribution to profits is small.
I guessed that the company would lose money in the current qtr.I was pleasantly surprised.
The company seems to be at an inflection point(trending up).The lack of liquidity(Accel owns 55% of the company) is hurting the stock price, but I feel that the company is trying to solve this problem.Compare Elamf to sflx, sgma, csyi, aflx, merx, pgtz and I think you would conclude that Elamf is undervalued.
I think that eps for 2000 could hit $1.00 if the sale of Optimag occurs in 1999.
Keep in mind these are my opinions.
