I liked these sound bites in the Red Herring article you posted this link to...

redherring.com

"Over the past year, the company has succeeded in growing its revenue and diminishing its losses, but the company is still not profitable. During the 1998 reporting period, Net2Phone had revenues of $12 million and a net loss of $3.5 million. The trend appears to be continuing for the first portion of 1999: for the nine months ended April 30, 1999, Net2Phone had revenues of $22.2 million and a loss of $2.9 million."

"The company is controlled by its parent company, IDT, which spun Net2Phone off as an IPO. IDT owns a 57 percent stake in the company. Softbank Technology Ventures owns a 10 percent stake in the company, and America Online owns 6 percent of Net2Phone stock. AOL also has the option to purchase up to 3 percent of the company's outstanding stock."

Considering AOL has over 17.6 million subscribers, Net2Phone revenues can't help but grow at hyper-rates.
