Mike: Somewhere in the manual it says a gorilla can do anything it wants to thwart competition, even if it isn't fair, just because it can. Neither one of those ideas, or about a dozen others we might collectively dream up, would surprise me, and in time, MSFT holders would probably be rewarded because this industry needs a healthy MSFT. If we all agree that increased productivity is what's driving our economy, what would have been the macro result if the PC industry had not had a single standard around which to develop. By extension, what will be the outcome if that standard withers? And the answer is: More Atlanta's?
