Dear BEK,

If you insist on nitpicking presumed misstatements then you have to get you're own semantics right.

<"Wave's ability"? ... better Wave's intended or expected ability>

Correction: "Wave's ability to support micro-transactions that is intended to enable...."

The ability has been demonstrated in exhibitions at trade shows back in 1998. Witnessed and reported back by some shareholders.
No, I will not get the link. Do your own DD.

Quote:"I think (your) misstatement is significant".Unquote.

Regards

Paul Schmidt

BEKlein: For your information, I have witnessed a microtransaction in digital content entirely on the client side without a tether to any network. This occurred not in a controlled experiment but, instead, on Joe Consumer's desktop. The content was WaveEnabled at MyPublish by Joe Consumer. The resulting .SMO was stored locally on Joe's hard drive. Using Joe's client-side WaveEnabled device -- a Hauppauge tuner card with EMBASSY-I on board -- Joe tapped his WaveAccount via his local embassy to open the digital shrinkwrap on the content.

Conducting such a microtransaction using the server-based emulation of the Wave system is a piece of cake. Try one of the demos at my site, below.

This is not vapor.

Best wishes,
