Just some thoughts...

JUST THE FACTS!!

It is always good to just re-read new releases and the "informational post" from time to time, and educate yourself even better about Triangle. These are some aspects of the business that make me believe in their business plans, and their future success...and mine!

The internet radio in my opinion will be a very big stepping stone for Triangle. In a past release, it sounds as if Triangle will attract more advertisers who want to reach the gay and lesbian community, and again this is not just the United States folks, this is worldwide. I feel Triangle may get some big advertisers from the radio aspect of their business. Here is a direct quote:

"Marvin Jenkins, General Sales Manager of the network, concluded, "Advertiser interest in reaching the gay and lesbian market is growing and this format is the ideal radio vehicle to reach that market worldwide."

In regards to AuctionsTelevision and BingoTelevision, I would expect to start hearing some releases that Triangle has landed some deals with some of the following cable companies:

"Jim Primm of JB Broadcasting expressed his company's view that by broadcasting the series AuctionsTelevision it brings a new dimension to each of the TV station's programming efforts and will expand the viewership currently carried by Time Warner, Cablevision, Cox, Americable, Comcast, Charter and the Falcon cable systems.

Bingo will be Huge! FAST FOOD CHAIN and NATIONAL GROCERY CHAIN already signed. An article in a NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT PUBLICATION will be out on newstands around the country in three weeks. NEILSON RATINGS ANYONE? Here is a quote from a past release:

"Weiner went on to announce that the premiere broadcast for BingoTelevision, a three-hour Monday through Friday series, has been moved up to Sept. 27th at the request of sponsors and television stations to coincide with the Neilsen's sweep period beginning Sept. 30, 1999. This move will enable both sponsors and stations to properly promote the series to ensure its success."

Of course, the most popular and latest news...the "partnership". Read closely, and understand that Triangle needs to report back to the shareholders and give the alternatives:

"July 22, 1999 02:51 PM
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 1999--Triangle Broadcasting Company Inc. GAAY President Frank Olsen announced today that the company has received an unsolicited offer from an investment group which is interested in exploring some type of business combination.

At this time the investment group is not a shareholder of "GAAY". Management will explore this potential offer within a short period of time and will then report back to the shareholders as to the alternatives."

The future looks very good, it's just a matter of time!

Some more thoughts...

There is not a PR that verifies SIGNING of a National fast food chain or National grocery chain. However, it states in one the PR's about the sponsors wanting to hold off until Nielson ratings week. You know what, as I type this, I am thinking to myself that why would a fast food chain and grocery chain care about the Nielson ratings....it must be sponsors DIFFERENT then these...hhhmmmm...interesting! At any rate, Dick VERIFIED this information, and gave no names, but with my discussions with Dick and others would probably have the same feeling, Dick tells it like it is, and I believe him. Also, other posters have been told the same by Dick, not just me. Here is a post from earlier that I typed in regards to this whole thing:

3. Sponsors...

The sponsors for the Auctions will be different from the sponsors from the Bingo. The only exception, would be the coffee shop that has not been named yet...will be the sponsor of the Auctions, Bingo, and the radio programs. Also, in regards to a NATIONAL FAST FOOD CHAIN being a one of the sponsors for BINGO...that is VERIFIED!! However, at the same time, Triangle may have a copule more lined up...still in talks. In regards to the GROCERY CHAIN for BINGO...YES!! VERIFIED that it is a NATIONAL CHAIN!! Remember said Dick, VP for Triangle, a NATIONAL CHAIN, can be called different names in different states, because of ownership. DICK stated examples such as FRED MYERS, SAFEWAY, VAUGHN'S...I think Vaughn's is Safeway, I am not sure because I live in Florida. I did see that SAFEWAY will have over 1,600 stores in 19 states. Anyway, I like those names.

You know, very interesting, getting back to what sponsors would have this type of control to push BingoTelevision back six weeks? IMHO, it has to be some type of ABC affiliate, or a Time Warner. Any thoughts anybody...anybody?
