to: mark silvers from: truedog Thank you for your response. I am relieved and pleased to an extent. I too do not believe in the myriad of traditional,denominational religions. As I have said before, my dictionary describes religion (paraphrased) as a man made set of rules on how to worship a diety. This interference of humans has been the cause of the countless religious wars that have been going on for millenia. My beliefs are based on Faith which does not require me to have another human interpret or speak to God for me. All one need to know about worship is in the Bible. Now,one more question. Since you do believe in God, why don't you believe in the basic premises of the Bible? By basic premises I am excluding a bunch of additions to certain parts that appear to be more human interference. I do believe in the Bible as the inspired word of God. TD
