guns are bad and acts of violence using guns are good because they help to get rid of guns. so, even if there was never an act of vioence using a gun, guns are still bad? guns are inanimate, so unless you are an animist, you are sick to encourage acts of violence using guns so guns control can be implemented.

No argument that the weapon has potential to do harm. Diesel and fertilizer didn't give much of a chance to T. McVey's victims. Shall we ban diesel and fertilizer?
