I believe that many who like the new site have not bothered to voice their opinion in the vote or on the threads. That most of the voting and negative opinions come from the unhappy users, since if people are happy with the way it is they don't bother to respond. In fact, I, a happy user of the new site almost didn't take the time to become involved in the controversy, since I know the new SI will be there for mew to use. And since time is precious....

Although the new site has some attractive features, it is very slow and hogs bandwidth. I prefer the "old" SI.
