Top 3 ?? Name them. I only see TCI as the only pure client for CSGS. If you're familiar with the cable billing world, you should know that no one MSO, besides TCI, is a pure 100% client of one billing vendor. Comcast, Charter, Adelphia, Cox, MediaOne are all clients of DST, Convergys, and CSGS in some form or fashion. None of them want to be stuck with one business solution and vendor. It's not good business and doesn't further competition and innovation. And speaking of cable being the core market... That is true for now, but if you think Paul Allen is buying up cable companies just for the "core" cable revenues, you're wrong. Do the math and you'll see that financially he will not brake even for a very long time if all he's buying are plain ol' cable subs. No, I'm sure he has other plans to generate additional revenue from this "core" base. Cable is slowly finding company with Internet, phone, pager, and eventually other services such as utilities as a cable company's core market. Eventually, all of the subscriber's monthly services will become a core market, serviced and billed through one provider, like a cable company or a telco IMO. Why else would Gates, and Allen pump all this money into these cable companies ? They see much more in potential revenues thanks to a captive subscriber base that is also looking for a simpler, more exciting way of entertainment, goods and services. Whoever can provide the best solution for future "core" markets will win the race. Will it be CSGS, or will it be CVG, SAVLY, DST, or ADVS who will come out the leader ? Don't know yet, but it's going to be interesting going forward. By the way: equities.barchart.com
