Dave,

I agree with your observations about ISLD. The ECN's (myself included) are always playing where the "action" is for that day. I don't see how ISLD or any other ECN for that matter can become an exchange of it's own. The liquidity just won't be there. Like them or not MM's and specialists do provide a very valid function in the marketplace.

Hopefully someone will come to their senses and stop this madness. I like the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I feel that after hours trading is also a big joke. The liquidity just won't be there and the little guy will end up getting screwed in the end. I am a full time daytrader and I don't want to even think about trading stocks past 4:00 PM. When that bell sounds I am ready to spend time with my family and try and add value to the community as a whole.
