To all:FWIW I just went short NSOL today. I feel pretty adept at gauging how the government deals with issues of competition and have made good money on it (usually on the long side, e.g. you can check my posts on PLAT or CHPS). NSOL, unfortunately is going to end up losing both their registry monopoly and any hope to profit off their previously registered domains. There is pretty clear precedent on intellectual property when it comes to government contracts. To use the pharmaceutical industry as an example, unless the company's rights are clearly spelled out ahead of time, what's created on the govt's dime or time is theirs. That, combined with the fact that the market as a whole has nowhere to go but down, and the internets have been the weakest sector in any recovery attempt, make NSOL a better short than long. I expect a retest of high 40s within a week or two.

Best,

Timoteo
