that petition thread is a thing of beauty, imo. one by one, a steady stream of posters stepping up and saying quite simply, "yes", or "aye". some add a few comments, though the thread creator asked that it be done elsewhere. nevertheless, i am impressed by the simply display of solidarity. i love that there is no fighting. no name-calling. no campaigning. just voices asking to go on record. people who love SI the way it is.
