Actually, that is your track record with AMD. With Intel you always know what is going on.

I guess the 667 is possible because Intel hasn't ruled it out, this is all they said news.com -

"Intel late yesterday confirmed that it will delay the 600-MHz Coppermine Pentium III processor from September to November."

Maybe Intel can push the 600 and 667 out on Oct. 24, the day the 667 was originally expected.
