Softbook...Just watched CNN Weekend Business show where Softbook (http://www.softbook.com/ ) was described. Paperless newspapers, magazines, journals etc. are downloaded to a portable reader. This would be another great place for a Wavemeter/Embassy chip. Ziff Davis is a company that Softbook has a deal with(see press releases at site listed above) and as I recall Wave has some type of defied relationship with them as well. We'll just have to wait and see if all these "dots"are connected.

Later...Klingerg

For An RB Poster: Isenberg, Gilder "Disciple."

I sent Isenberg an e-mail about two weeks ago re: Wave Systems, with specific reference to whether or not he feels that Wave represents a disruptive technology.

He does NOT. He sees it as a "sustaining" technology and questions its value when "software solutions" are readily available.

I note this only because there seems to be some belief that there is unanimity among the Gilderites... and there isn't. I'm not disheartened by this fact, though. At least his disagreement isn't premised on a short play or the desire to manipulate opinion.

FYI... Best Regards,
